Amari

Our deaf beauty Amari, entered our care at 6 months of age after being raised in a pound from 8 weeks with no adoption interest. She had been attacked by her father which resulted in some scarring on the side of her face and neck.
Thankfully this hasn’t stopped this sweet girl from being incredibly dog social; sharing her foster home with various sizes dogs including young pups. She would love a home with an active doggie play mate & someone to give her support and guidance.

Amari loves to wrestle and run, so a home that is a little more moderately active and social would do her well.
She has shown to walk well on leash, has good toilet and crate training skills and is also cat friendly.  She has also been exposed to poultry and livestock through safe fencing and is suitable with both.  She is still learning hand signals, so this training will need to continue.

Amari can be a little shy when it comes to bonding to people and meeting others so she will need someone a little more patient with her. She would also be best with kids over the age of 7 who are a little more calm in nature.  She is around 28kg in size, but has not shown to be a jumper.  She is well natured and adores a cuddle on the lounge.

Amari is looking for someone loving and must be allowed inside at night to sleep and to be close to the family.  Being white, she also needs to be inside more than out during the day to keep out of the sun as she loves to sun-bake!

Amari hopes she doesn’t have to wait long; located in foster care at Macquarie Hills. Her adoption fee has been reduced to $250 after a kind donation.  Are you the person she’s waiting for for?

All animals have a 2 week trial period.

Rentals must have written permission for allowance of a dog at the listed application address before applying.

All applications must attach clear photos of the fencing, yard and rental agreement.
