Josie

Tiny in size big in personality…that’s our little Josie. She’s a feisty little gal who is very wary meeting new people and can get a little snappy if you try to get to know her on your terms not hers. Take it slow and let Josie come to you and she’s sweet, loving and very playful. She’s a tiny pocket rocket and boy can she move, she plays hard and loves to play. A home with a playmate is what Josie needs but they have to be a very tolerant dog to put up with her shenanigans, if she wants to play she doesn’t let up and will front up to them trying to force the game. She’s learning to play with balls, she’ll chase but not yet return. She loves a cuddle and snuggles close once she’s comfortable with you. She’s crate trained and sleeps all night without a problem in her crate and also happy to be in there if there are too many visitors for her to cope with, her toilet training is still a work in progress. She’s loves a walk and getting out and about but unfortunately she is that little brat dog that barks at anything that moves, a lot of that is her fear reactive response so with time, patience and consistency she should improve. Josie really enjoys a car ride and is very well behaved. She’s untested with cats but I would think she would not be suitable given her enthusiasm to play.  A quiet household, no young children, a tolerant playmate and plenty of love and patience is what our little 3.5kg  Josie needs, she is not a little lap dog unless SHE wants to be
