Lilly

The lovely Lilly came bounding into care just over 3 months ago but unfortunately it was soon evident she’d done herself an injury and required an ACL repair. She is now as good as new and ready to love on her new family. Lilly is such a pretty girl, her photos really don’t do her justice and she has a very loving nature, she loves nothing more than a cuddle and will happily sit on your lap like the 30kg baby she thinks she is. She’s a bit bouncy and excitable at meal times and when she first sees you when you come home but soon calms down and she is working hard to control her excitement around food. She gets on well with both small and larger dogs but she does like to chase birds so no feathered friends or pocket pets would be recommended for our Lilly.  She’s not met any cats at this stage so is untested currently and while she is good with children, due to her bouncy nature, older dog savvy children would be more suited to her. Lilly loves to go out for walks but she is currently a little strong on the lead as she hasn’t had much practice, and is improving each time she is taken out, it won’t be long before she’s perfect. Lilly is crate trained to perfection, due to her long recovery post surgery and is also super well behaved in the yard, happy to be by herself or with other dog company. She is a fantastic security dog without being a nuisance barker and is not destructive at all. If you don’t mind a lotta loving and want a super loyal gal to keep you company Lilly is the girl you’re looking for
