Louie

This feisty little fellow (only 5kg but don’t tell him that) will keep you on your toes. He’s got plenty of attitude and not afraid of anything, his best friend is a kelpie and he keeps him busy allowing him to herd him around the yard. Louie loves a walk and a ride in the car and needs an active home to help burn off some of that little man energy. He’s dipped his toes in the ocean and liked it so beach trips could be a fun activity with Louie.  He doesn’t mind a lap to lay on when inside and can be quite affectionate when he wants to be but he is a little growly bear, all noise and show of course so doesn’t always show his loving side. He is however very gentle around young children and gravitates towards them, he would need to be supervised carefully though. Louie’s toiletting is a work in progress so continued training and some patience will be required, he is crate trained and is very well behaved in his crate. As Louie is a non shedding breed, regular grooming will be needed, he is a very good boy being bathed & brushed and his coat is just starting to regrow from a very short cut and will need regular ongoing brushing. Louie is untested with cats so we couldn’t say he would be ok with them but he is good with all dogs he has met so far.
