Snoopy

This little gent is such a character, very well behaved and loves a snuggle. He likes to think he’s the boss tho and since being introduced to inside living we’ve had to set a few ground rules like number 1 there is an expectation that he gets out of bed in the morning, Snoop doesn’t agree and would happily snooze all day long.  He’s embraced inside living very quickly as he was an outside dog in his former home and he has no intention of living that life again. Snoop’s very happy in his crate to sleep in and jumps in without prompting but I’m sure he’d just as easily snuggle up in a bed with a special someone.  Now just between us, don’t let on to Snoop but he needs to lose a little weight, he’s getting on in years and a little less weight on those slim legs and he’ll be much better for it so a controlled diet will be a must for his continued good health, he’s a foodie and enjoys his tucker.  Snoopy has just recently had a dental so has some pretty smart pearly whites to flash and was given a clean bill of health from the vet apart from a little arthritis in his back legs for which he takes a regular supplement no medication. He’s a really great little guy and would be happy living as an only dog but he does get on fine with the other dogs in care with him. He loves a walk and a turn around the block daily would suit him fine, he’s a good boy in the car also. Snoop’s untested with cats but we believe he’d be ok with kids say 10+, at his age he doesn’t want to be training young children and could be a bit grumpy.  A retired person/couple or someone who’s home more often than not would be perfect for our man Snoopy. If you can offer this very low maintenance older gent a nice quiet retirement home he’ll reward you with lots love and cuddles for hopefully many years to come
