Almost 3 years in care and this sweet boy is hoping someone kind and patient can provide him the same freedoms, comforts and virtues that his foster family currently provide. We aren’t sure the extent of what Eric went through in his previous home and exposures, but we definitely know they were everlasting.

A home that is patient and kind is required for this boy, he would do best in a home with at least 1 other dog but the more the merrier is best for him as he does adore all. He isn’t suitable as an only dog. He isn’t a city slicker so if suburban based a quiet location is best suited. Acreage or rural based is also well suited. Eric is fantastic inside, and thrives better with being a more inside dog. He may be bigger (40-45kg) but he really just loves to snuggle up on the lounge and is happy to share with people or other dogs. He is well toilet trained, crate trained and comfortable inside with non destructive behaviours. He does have a big bark on him and will vocalise with barking when he is unsure or nervous. He has never shown aggression to people; but he does shake when he is scared. His foster family have put in a lot of time and stride with him, and are hoping someone is open to taking the reins and continuing their work. But he does require a certain someone. He has previously lived with cats however he hasn’t for some time so his suitability is currently unknown. He is not suitable to free range poultry, pocket pets or birds but may suit livestock if they’re safely paddocked.

Eric is ready for his new journey and hopes he doesn’t have to wait too long. He’s located in the lower Hunter Valley, his adoption fee is $550 and is available for NSW or ACT adoption only.
