Lenny

Lenny is one-of-a-kind. A cattle x koolie boy with one blue and another part blue eye, and an adorable underbite, he is sure to catch everyone’s attention.
But look past the stunning looks and blue eyes and you find a past that he is working hard to leave behind.
Lenny came into care very confused, and with wounds where he had been picked on by a larger dog, but over time he has learned to integrate better with the host and foster pack and has now even started to play with the others in care. Previously he was almost exclusively human-focussed.
He loves a car ride, a ball game, biting the water coming out of the sprinklers, and most of all he loves his people. For this reason, even though he now gets along with all but one of the other 11 dogs in foster care, we are looking for a home where he can be an only dog. He deserves his own family.
Lenny has many cattle dog behaviours, but sometimes exaggerated, and will need an experienced owner and a quieter environment to complete his rehabilitation.
You will probably have owned several cattle dogs (or similar stubborn breeds) before. He is not a “I had a labrador as a child” kind of dog. He will back chat you, he will challenge you, but he will also love you like no other, and be loyal to you.
He is looking for an experienced and committed owner to unlock his potential.

Lenny is located in the Ourimbah area and is ready to find his new home now. His adoption fee is $400.
