Meet Lua – The Sweet and Shy Explorer

Lua is a gentle, 1yr old curious young girl with a heart full of love once she feels safe and settled. We think she is a mix of Kelpie/Shepherd and possibly Husky.

Still a little timid at first, she blossoms beautifully with patience, kindness, and the company of another calm, confident dog to show her the ropes.

She’s fantastic out and about — walks nicely on lead and isn’t reactive to other dogs. Lua absolutely thrives when she has a canine friend to keep her company, so her ideal home will have another friendly, well-adjusted dog to help her feel secure, so therefore not suited to being an only dog.

Currently living with an array of different woofas, they vary in age, size and temperament, so she is learning a lot from them.  Lua is comfortable with being outside during the day, but must sleep inside of a night time with the family. She is both crate and toilet trained, which is a great advantage.  Her foster family have a range of visitors from young pre-teens and adults coming and going, which is ideal for her to get used to a semi-busy household.

Lua is located in the Maitland NSW area and is ready to meet her new match now. Could you give this beautiful girl her forever home?
