Mason

Mason is a happy 6mth old cattle dog who is small to medium for his breed.

Mason came into care due to being protective of his owner, but in care he has not shown that trait.  He has grown up with cats and other dogs and is now fitting in with the current pack of 10 dogs in foster care after being a little intimidated at first of the larger giant breeds.   He now enjoys a rumble with the wolfhound cross girl or the kelpies. He will wade into the dam, but is not game to go for a swim as yet.  He is also currently working on his lead skills in public settings.

Mason could be an only dog if you were home more often than not or live with another friendly dog.
Mason takes a little while to adjust to new situations and we would recommend no children under 5 as he may try to herd them.
He will need 5 foot or higher fencing to keep him safe. Rural fencing may suit for the right situation. He would not suit apartment living.

Mason is ready to meet his new family now and hopes it won’t take too long.  He’s in care in the Ourimbah NSW area and his adoption fee is $550.
