Hi my names Peanut or perhaps it’s
“You’re too close”
“Please get off my lap”
“I didn’t ask for a cuddle whilst I’m trying to eat” 🙂

I’m not too sure really….
I’m a handsome 1 year old goofy and friendly Akita x mastiff who’s searching for a cuddly and inclusive home that loves to interact.
I’m good with other dogs but I would be best as an only dog or with a loving female doggie. I happily share my foster home with others and I’m even good with young kids as I’m a tolerant with all his noise and nonsense!

I have met a cat whilst in care but might be best off not in a home with them. I can be a little too interested and that might be too dangerous for everyone.
I’m loving and interactive and searching for a home who’s looking for a companion. Someone to watch a movie with, share some lunch and maybe cuddle up at night.

I’m crate and toilet trained and well mannered. I’m still young, so I’ll need someone who can continue my training and interactions/socialisation in the outside world as well as my manners and obedience.  I’m super food motivated so that should be easy!

I’d like a home where I can sleep inside at night even if it’s continuing my crate training.  I’m also happy to stay at home whilst you work but please make sure I have a good daily walk as I do love to sniff around.

I’m a handsome fella and I’m sure you’ll be stopped on the streets when taking me around.

Could you be Peanut’s new family? He is currently in care at Rutherford and his adoption fee is $500.

All animals have a 2 week trial period.

Rentals must have written permission for allowance of a dog at the listed application address before applying.

All applications must attach clear photos of the fencing, yard and rental agreement.
