This little bundle of adorable sits around the 6-8kg mark and is a mix of chihuahua and possibly beaglier and many other possible breed combinations. We believe he is around 2 years old in age.
Waylon is a sweet gentle and timid fella that’s searching for a calm natured and patient household that can help slowly expose him to the wide world.
He will be searching for a home with another social and guiding dog that can bond with him and help him understand that the world and its humans aren’t all scary. He will NOT be looking for a home as an only dog.
Waylon has a kind nature and is hoping for someone looking for a mostly indoor companion with the ability to sleep inside the house at night being essential.
He takes comfort in his crate at night and this would be a great start addition to his new home until he finds the comforts with everything around.
He has met lots of dogs and cats whilst in care and plays well with both. He doesn’t necessarily need only small dog in the home as a companion as he loves to play with dogs of all sizes. But he will need a home with kids over the age of 10 who are dog savvy and calm in nature.
Waylon will need secure and safe fencing 5ft and above that’s free from gaps and holes. And he won’t be searching for a home with rural fencing.
In time he may suit visiting parks, beaches or walking trails but will need work and time before being allowed off leash with a family who is okay if that’s not a possible future ability.
Waylon is located on the lower Hunter valley, he may suit an apartment for the right household. He is only available for NSW or ACT adoption only and his adoption fee is $550.
