He loves his humans and hopes someone would be home a little more often than not to spend time with him. This sweet 10 month old boy is going to be large in size when fully grown and is already almost 40kg and still has lots of growing to do!. So a home looking for a large lounge cuddler is perfect for him.
Rowan will need fencing 6ft and over as he can jump fencing 5ft and under. He may suit rural fencing if someone was around throughout the day.
He hasn’t met any kids whilst in foster care but with a gentle and loving personality; we definitely think he would be best friends with dog savvy kids. Due to his size we would recommend stable footed kids over the age of 5 years.
Rowan has been exposed to cats, livestock and chickens in a coop area with no issues and hasn’t shown to have a mean bone in his body.
He is crate trained, working hard in his basic obedience, recall and leash skills and just adoring being able to play with doggie friends throughout the day.
He will need a home looking to allow him inside at night time throughout his life as he wouldn’t cope as being an outside only dog.
Rowan is a handsome great Dane X Rhodesian ridgeback and his adoption fee is $550. He is located in the lower hunter valley and is ready to meet his new family now.
