He is looking for a primarily indoor home with someone home more often than not. And a home with no kids under the age of 10 years.
He has shown to be dog social and could easily suit living with another social pooch. He isn’t a dog that would suit dog parks as he does find large groups of larger dogs overwhelming but he does play well with a variety of dogs in foster care.
He could also easily suit being an only dog in a home looking for a cuddly lounge companion.
He has met cats and shown to be tolerant of these so could share his home with a dog savvy feline.
His new home will have a decent exercise schedule and be looking to take him out daily to explore the outside world. He is still working on his confidence on leash but we know he will gain this quickly.
He will need secure and safe fencing 5ft and over, most importantly free from gaps and holes. He may suit a rural fenced home for the right situation but will need boundary training to make sure he knows where he can and can’t go.
He must sleep inside at night throughout his life and this is non negotiable and a home that has indoor/ outdoor access throughout the day will he preferenced. Jack is located in the Lower Hunter Valley and his adoption fee is $550. He’s ready to meet you now.
