This handsome boy is still on the search for his perfect match. He’s been waiting a little while and has shown so much progress whilst settling into foster care.
See, in Eric’s previous home when his owner was at work. A bunch of tradies tormented him whilst they did renovations. Resulting in an engrained fear of hi vis and unknown males, something his foster family have been strongly working on and progressing so well.
This boy is incredibly dog social and loves doggies of all sizes. He will need another dog in the home, one that can show confidence for him to gain from. He wouldn’t suit being an only dog very well.
He has grown up with kids in his previous home and apparently loves dog savvy kids even as young as 5 years old.
Eric does require a patient and calmer household, one with primarily indoor access and in a quiet suburban or rural area as he can be nervous with busy settings.
His new family will have a good exercise schedule as he loves to stretch his legs so a good daily walk would suit him fantastically.
He is well toilet trained, crate trained, fantastic in the house unsupervised. Well mannered on leash and knows his basic obedience and recall.
Eric’s new home will be understanding and okay that he will need some time to settle into his new environment. And may be a little shut down and nervous with the new change.
Eric has met cats whilst in foster care and would suit a cat who is not phased by dogs. However he hasn’t been tested with a cat not sure on dogs that could run.
He’s met chickens/ cows and goats through coops and fencing and shown little to no reaction to them as well.
Eric is located in the lower hunter valley and he’s currently around 18 months old. He’s a handsome 35-40kg bull Arab mixture and is suitable for NSW or ACT adoption only.
