Mojito is a sweet-natured 4 month old mixed breed puppy, looking for his forever home. He was found in regional bushland along with some other pups of similar ageing with limited human contact and he has spent his short life relying on the company of other dogs to build his confidence.
It is for this reason that we are looking for a home with an existing dog/dogs to provide Mo with that canine companionship that he is so familiar with and that will help guide him through the next chapter of his life.

Mo will be a mediumsize dog, currently 12kgs in sizing. After a dreadful past he is thriving in foster care and his fun, loving personality is developing more and more each day. He’s great with small, medium and large dogs and will share his toys and bed without hesitation. He loves the 3 large dogs he shares his foster home with currently, following them around, engaging in games of wrestle and chase. He is often curled up sharing a bed with one of them or stretched out fast asleep ontop of another.
Mo’s happy place is right alongside his doggy siblings so he wouldn’t suit being an only dog in his new home.
This sweet little man is also proving to be a quick learner and loves his toys. Mo has learnt to trust people whilst in foster care and is adored by his foster mum and dad. He comes when called, sits for food, and wants to be right by your side on the couch nestled into your arm enjoying pats. Everyday that goes by, Mo is becoming more loving, affectionate and relaxed in the home and with new people.

He needs a family who will understand to take it slow and be patient with introducing him to new people, as they can seem scary at first. He will thrive being taken to puppy and adolescent classes which will expose him to new people and exciting new doggy friends, whilst learning great skills too.
Mo currently sleeps inside and is showing fantastic indoor manners, toilet training and crate training skills. He needs a home who will allow him to sleep inside throughout puppy hood and life and have quality time with the family to develop a strong bond.

Whilst Mo will learn to love and trust the children of his new home, he may find new children and lots of visitors intimidating, so we suggest a family with older children 10 and up, which would create a quieter home with more predictable interactions. As Mo grows, so too will his confidence and love of people big and small as long as his new family are committed to ongoing training and socialisation.

Mojito is located in the Newcastle area and is available for NSW or ACT adoption only. His adoption fee is $650 and he’s ready to meet you now.
